There are many variations of knurls on dowel pins, straight pins or your custom fastening pin. Often the function of a knurl is to hold a pin in place or offer resistance or grip. Knurled pins could have a straight, diamond or spiral profile. The profile can have different pitches, teeth per inch (TPI) and raise from base diameters. W.H. Bagshaw can quote your custom knurl or we can work with you to develop the appropriate knurl profile to fit your application.
